We Miss You, Nana…

“We Miss You, Nana….”                                   CuteEmily

“I miss you too…” answers Mary Huzio to her Grandchildren. This is why she takes a very serious decision in her life to move closer to her Grandchildren, from Calgary to British Columbia. Successfully having sold out her house, all nana’s dreams and heart belong to her loves. After many years ago divorce, she was left alone without any moral or financial support from the biological father of their two daughters. Her lovely and charming pretties grew up, having their own families. But Mary did not change at all,  still priority No.1 is her family, not friends and her own hobbies and personal life.

twokidsintheseaHer colleagues at work used to joke:” Mary, you are married to your own family. Make the time for yourself, please…” Hard work at two jobs at a time was a true refuge for her, she was scared to go on pension. What to do with her lots of free time?

Tried gardening. As a farmer’s girl she was much more experienced in harvesting than many others compared to city girls. This hobby did not last very long.

Grandchildren were calling: “Nana, we miss you. Come…” And she is coming , their and her dreams coincided.

Not a lemming by nature she did not have many friends however, but those whom she got, they were friends in need, who are friends indeed.

Wishing all the best on her cheerful journey to a new home we pay a visit at her old place, chit-chatting and drinking tea and coffee. It is hard to say “Good bye” and not to see her again as it was before. Tears are rolling on our cheeks… Bye-Bye, Mary! Good luck and happiness to you and your family.

Listen to the beautiful music from “Crystal Balalaika”, Mary.                  Varenka
