Day 3. PACIFIC SERENITY: A Good Conscience is to the Soul what Health is to the Body. (Cruise Maui, Kahului (my hat with lei)around the Hawaiian Islands: Maui, Kahului).

A good conscience is to the Soul what Health is to the Body. It preserves a constant ease and serenity within us and more than countervails all the calamities and afflictions than can possibly befall us.

Janko and I are enjoying beautiful sunshine and light breeze. Janko thought to himself observing  the flowing streams of foamy Pacific waters following suit the cruise ship: “I am part of the sun as my eye is part of me, that I am part of the earth my feet know perfectly, and my blood is part of the sea. There is nothing of me that is alone and absolute, except my mind, and we shall find that the mind has no existence by itself, it is only theToby Beau showglitter of the sun on the surface of the waters.”

Mirth is like a flash of lightning, that breaks through a gloom of clouds and  glitters for a moment; cheerfulness keeps up a kind of daylight in the mind, and fills it with a steady and perpetual serenity.

After our beautiful morning walk  in serenity around Maui we coming back on the board. Lots of activities are going on at the evening time, we are watching RCA Recording Artists “Toby Beau” for a tribute to the Beatles, one of the greatest musical groups of all time. There is a photo of Toby Beau and a photo of my hat with lei above.

Watch the photo show ” Club Mardi Gras”:

Good entertainment and humor around us.

Good humor is a tonic for mind and body. It is the best antidote for anxiety and depression. Mardi Gras textIt is a business asset too. It attracts and keeps friends. It lightens human burdens. It is a direct route to serenity and contentment.

At the Hollywood ship theatre and later everywhere Tim Kaminski performed, a comedian who was included into the National Comedy Hall of Fame in 2002, as America’s best Up-Coming Comedian. We had lots of fun watching his shows.

Satisfied with beautiful music, excellent performance of the artists, the stage decorations and intricate wall designs and illustrations which set the tone for a memorable evening, we were heading back to our cabin to remember a soulful experience.
