One. Ukraine.  According to the data of the Central Election Commission of the Ukrainian President, the results of laptop99.44% of processed protocols say that presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovych has gained 48.81% and Yulia Tymoshenko has got 45.61%.
Hence, the gap between the two candidates is 3.20%.
4.37% of voters did not support any of candidates. Turnout is 69.07%

Costa Rica elected its first female president, as the ruling National Liberation   Party claimed a historic victory, according to CNN. “I want to thank the pioneering women who years ago opened the doors of politics in Costa Rica,” Laura Chinchilla said Sunday to flag-waving supporters in the capital, San Jose. “My government will be open to all Costa Ricans of good faith.”

On January 26, 2010 the Russian Olympic Executive Committee approved the list of the 175 Russian athletes who qualified for the national Olympic team to participate in the XXI Olympic Games in Vancouver. The athletes represent 31 regions of the country. There are 51 Merited Masters of Sports, 72 International Masters of Sports, 41 Masters of Sports, 10 candidates for Masters of Sports and even one First Rate Master on the team. Biathlete Olga Zaitseva holds the most titles, being an Olympic Champion (the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin) and an International Master of Sports.
