The photo expose “Frank’s Towel Creations”:

The second day we are staying on the same island: Nawiliwili, Kaua’i.
My observation is as follows: the people seem to be hired on ship by special talents, as in our case, Frank Lopez, who did homemaking for our stateroom #10003 for 7 days and nights of our cruise. He did a good job as our place was always spotless. On the top of that, he pleased us with creation of his hands, towel animals, sometimes it would be an elephant, the next day-a turtle, then-a rabbit. Watch to yourselves on my photo expose, represented above, with the simple tittle: “Frank’s Towel Creatures”.
We noticed also that the working people on board are well trained, unionized (that means they are protected by the unions against harassment and boss pursuits, well paid by American Labor Code), interacting freely with each other and with the guests. It appears to be a policy for all the employees on the ship.
In fact, how could it be otherwise? Can one imagine a nasty, unsociable character on the board? I cannot. One such a bad type could spoil someone’s whole trip…
We socialized with stewards, restaurants’ staff, drivers who accompanied us to the shores, captain’s crew and entertainers. They all are open by nature, easy going, ready to fulfill any of our requests. We appreciated all their efforts and following to the high Hawaiian spirit, say: “Thank you (“Mahalo” in Hawaiian), guys, see you soon!”
DAY 7. PACIFIC SERENITY: A mind at peace is when a mind is relaxing (Around the Hawaiian Islands. Night sailing back to Honolulu)
A mind at peace, a mind centered and focused on never harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.
When one is rising, standing, walking, doing something, stopping, one should constantly concentrate one’s mind on the act and the doing of it, not on one’s relation to the act or its character or value… One should simply practice concentration of the mind on the act itself, understanding it to be an expedient means for attaining tranquility of mind, realization, insight, and wisdom.
With quiet peace within self I propose you to watch the photo show “Bye, bye, Pride of America!”:
