Если, кто читал “Отверженные” Виктора Гюго, тот помнит великолепное описание впечатления, произведенного на девочку при встрече с кукольным магазином:
“…она едва ли могла удержаться, чтобы не поднять глаза и взглянуть на чудесную куклу, которую прося она назвала Богиней. Бедный ребёнок-девочка остановилась в изумлении. Ей трудно было даже поверить, что эта кукла находится поблизости от неё. Весь игрушечный магазин казался ей раем: кукла не просто кукла; она была видением. Она была радостью, великолепием, роскошью, счастьем, окружённым каким-то своего рода химерическим сиянием для этого маленького существа, так глубоко погрязшую в мрачную и холодную
нищету.
Своим печальным невинным детским умом Козетта понимала огромную пропасть, разделяющую её и ту куклу. Она сказала сама себе, что нужно быть Королевой или по крайней мере, Принцессой, чтобы “обладать” такой вещью, как эта.
Девочка разглядывала её прекрасное розовое платье, прекрасные гладкие волосы и думала о том”как счастлива, должно быть. эта кукла!” Девочка не отрывала глаз от того фантастического места. Чем дольше она смотрела на неё, тем больше росло её очарование. Она представляла себя в раю.
Позади той большой куклы, стояли те, которые поменьше. Они тоже чудились девочке феями и духами.
Продавец, курсировавший туда-сюда перед своим магазином, казался ей таже Богом, Всевышним отцом.
В своём небесном обожании девочка забыла обо всём на свете, даже о поручении, которое ей было дано.
Пробудил её к действительности грубый голос Тенардьера :”А ты ещё здесь, глупышка! Убирайся вон отсюда, пока я не задал тебе перцу!”
Козетта очнулась, волоча за собой ведро, и побежала прочь так быстро, как только могла.”
Что значит кукла для девочки?
Инстинкт материнства, забота о семье, о людях, окружающих её.
Украшать куклу, приспосабливать её к своему образу жизни – не есть ли это один из признаков творческой деятельности.
Вот, почему художники из многих стран мира творят чудеса с куклой. Последние два года в Манеже в Москве проводятся Всемирные Выставки кукол.

With the sad and innocent sagacity of childhood, Cosette measured the abyss which separated her from that doll. She said to herself that
one must be a queen, or at least a princess, to have a :thing” like that. She gazed at that beautiful pink dress, that beautiful smooth hair, and she thought,”how happy that doll must be!” She could not take her eyes from that fantastic stall.
The more she looked, the more dazzled she grew. She thought she was gazing at paradise. There were other dolls behind the large one, which seemed to her to be fairies and genii. The merchant, who was pacing back and forth in front of his shop, produced on her somewhat the effect of being the Eternal Father.
In this adoration she forgot everything, even the errand with which she was charged.
All at once the Thenardier’s coarse voice recalled to reality:
“What, you silly jade! you have not gone? Get lost, you little monster!”
Cosette fled, dragging her pail, and taking the longest strides of which she was capable.”
What is the meaning of the doll for a girl?
The instinct of motherhood, care for the family, a caring attitude to the people around her.
To decorate a doll, to make fit to your life style-isn’t it one of the signs of creativity?
This is why the artists of many countries in the world are creating miracles with the dolls. Recent two years there take place International Exhibitions of Dolls in Manez, Moscow.

i used to pin a heart on my sleeve to renimd myself that i talk too much. originally i’d had differen’t states of the hearts like spazzing and bummed and amped, but since i’m not an emo kid i just used the one [which is bad enough].point of story: emotion dolls, pretty good idea. just don’t get angular bangs that cover half your face and start listening to thrice or i WILL hit you.
Dear Nguyen, Thank you for your comment. You’re right. Janko was given as a gift one poppik doll. He put it on the vivid place just in front of his favorite arm-chair, and every morning when he is awake, looking at her. And she shows him her face, never her bum. That means the life treats him well. I hope, Nguyen, life treats you also not badly because of those funny hearts on your sleeve.
