One. Happy Birthday, Saint Petersburg!

May 27th, 2018 is an official Birthday for the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. Carnival starts from Anichkov Bridge on the Nevsky Prospect to the Palace Square. This photo is taken a few hours ago, just when carnival, parade began showing off the interesting events and jazz concerts as well as many other interesting things, celebrating the big date for the city.

Two. In St. Petersburg, his home town, President Vladimir Putin on Thursday welcomed the kind of line-up of world leaders that might have graced the former imperial capital, once Russia’s window to the west: Emmanuel Macron of France, Japanes Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, China’s Deputy President Wang Qishan, IMF’s Christine Lagarde.

Four. The weather is crazy everywhere now! Nowadays especially, in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on May 24, 2018.

Snowfall of 33 cm, pretty much exactly what the airport was reporting, 170 people were talking about it at the same time on the weather channel by Internet.

Five. The Heat Wave is striking the Prairie Provinces in Canada, including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, with abnormal hits of 29 Degrees C and above. Why? The reasons can be different: from the global warming of the world climate to the extraterrestrial impacts on our planet.
