For a whole week vacation Fairmont is our desired destination

Why you may ask such a poetic opening to describe a week’s vacation? Because we like Kootneys Mountains, very high and majestic. This was planned to be our first Christmas and Janko’s 61-st Birthday on the 27-th of December away from home. Our drive was both unevenful, but very beautiful. The weather was perfect even if we were driving on Christmas day the magic of Christmas stayed with us. It was a white Christmas, snow on the ground and in the Mountains it looked like a fairy land. To me it brought back memories of childhood Christmases, images of Santa Claus flying on his sleigh and giving gifts to all. I was a B-day boy again, but my Santa this time was Valentina. She made my special day more special. This week I will never forget and it was the best celebration of my Birthday and Christmas and New 2009 Year in my life.
