[:en]Two art lovers from Saint Petersburg, Russia went to Helsinki, Finland to visit the famous poetess Anna Akhmatova’s friend’s exhibition from Paris, the artist Amedeo Modigliani. The admission ticket was a sticker on the hand in a manner of one of his portraits. The hall and public were exclusively decorated. The exhibition was organised by Association of National Museums RMN/Grand Pall with corporation of Museum of Contemporary Arts in Lille and Budapest, and help of the municipality of the city of Helsinki. Nina Anatolyevna (NA) and Larisa Vikentyevna (LV) shared their impressions about this event, the photos are the courtesy of them: NA and LV.     

Valentina: Can you, ladies, tell me what was the most impressive at that exhibition?

NA: The film which was shown long time ago about Modigliani in Russia, is different from our impressions from the artist’s works. Understanding the time almost one hundred years ago, the new innovative trends in the arts, impressionists of all kinds, I can say that Anna Akhmatova and Amedeo Modigliani were young, artistically gifted people and loved the same: poetry and arts. It’s not surprising that they felt the same way about each other as Anna Akhmatova put it in words: “You’re in Me as a Delusion…”

LV: I agree one hundred percent with my friend. When one sees to oneself 83 works represented here in Helsinki, male, female, nudes, sculptures, sketches and drawings by Modigliani, how are various by genres, style and attitude of the master painter, one can grasp better the era of the early Montparnasse bohema reigned in France and everywhere in Europe.

NA: We’re glad that we found the possibility to visit the exhibition of such an outstanding artist and sculptor as Amedeo Modigliani.

 [:RU]Две любительницы искусства из Санкт Петербурга, Россия недавно посетили выставку художника-друга известной поэтессы Анны Ахматовой, Модильяни, открытой в это время в Хельсинки, Финляндия. Нина Анатольевна (НА) и Лариса Викентьевнв (ЛВ) поделились своими впечатлениями о своём посещении выставки.

Валентина: Расскажите, пожалуйста, дорогие друзья, что самое интересное привлекло вас на этой выставке?

НА: Прежде всего, когда мы сами воочию увидели произведения большого художника Амедео Модильяни, мы сразу же вспомнили фильм о Модильяни, показанный нам давным давно. Он не совпадает с нашими впечатлениями о нём. Побывав на его выставке и соприкоснувшись с творческой манерой художника, глубже понимаешь ту эпоху, когда он творил почти 100 лет назад: эпоху модернизма, импрессионизма разных жанров.

ЛВ: Да, конечно.На выставке представлено 83 работы художника-скульптора, эскизы и наброски к портретам, мужским и женским,обнажённым натурам. Здесь больше осознаёшь, почему возникли такие трогательные отношения между художником и поэтессой, ведь они любили одно и то же: поэзию и искусство, одинаково. “Вы во мне как наваждение…” так написала Анна Ахматова об Амедео Модильяни, но это относится к ним обоим. Они оба влияли на искусство друг друга.

НА: Полностью согласна. Выставка подгтовлена Объединением национальных музеев RMN/Гран-Пал при участии Музея современного искусства Лилля и Будапешта и при поддержке города Хельсинки.
