Japanese are very polite and curtios as we observed them closely in Honolulu, visiting the USS Arizona Memorial for a second time, now with the family Larisa and Gleb. The Memorial is built over the remains of the sunken battleship USS Arizona, the final resting place for many of 1,177 crewmen killed on December 7, 1941, when their ship was bombed by Japanese Naval Forces.
Japanese were many in the crowd in Pearl Harbor as well as many Canadian veterans. We met sailors from the Russian fleet-all who came here paid the homage, recollected the past. We noticed the respectful attitude of everyone regardless who they were at the sacred monument.

Most importantly to learn that it was terrible, we must try our utmost to make the world peaceful, that no man should have to relive a Pearl Harbor.
